Your Council

Cllr Freddie Arkell

Hi, I have lived in Little Hadham now for 13 years this year, a large part of those years were spent living in the Nag’s Head pub right in the very heart of our village. Luckily after leaving the Nags Head me and my family were very fortunate to stay in the village. I have always been a people person and I enjoy interacting with everyone and the community, so that was why as of December 2019 I decided to join the Parish Council to give back to the community and offer my spare time in helping protect the village and making sure our village stays great.

In my role as Councillor I have been asked to look after areas including highways which I am very passionate about, to make sure we keep our village roads and our residents safe. I have also been asked to assist on flooding issues we have in the village, and to take the lead on public relations for the village ensuring we have an active presence on our social media pages, whilst also assisting on planning matters.

I am looking forward to making a difference in our village to make it just a little bit better. I know most people already in the village, but if we have never met before and you would like to meet to discuss things please feel free to pop down the first Tuesday of every month at the village hall where our Parish Council meetings are held.
